Fees cover costs of tuition, reasonable stationery issued by the School, normal art materials, loan of text books and small incidental costs.
Tuition Fees are payable under one of the following options:
(a) direct debit by bank transfers at the beginning of each month (Ten Monthly - September to June);
Parents contract to pay the fees according to the above schedule, depending on the option chosen. A surcharge will be levied in the event of late payment. A student will not normally be re-admitted if his or her fees have not been paid by half term or (if there is no half term) within six weeks of the start of term.
Refundable Deposit of One Term’s Fees: variable
A refundable deposit equal to the new student’s fee for one term is payable when the student is first admitted. This will be returned when the student leaves, providing the required one term’s notice of withdrawal has been given in writing (or if the student is a Form 12 leaver) and providing there are no outstanding debts to the school. This deposit must be paid within 8 weeks of receiving a firm written offer of the place to garantee admision. Interest is not paid on this deposit.
Capital and Maintenance Charge: 5% of the full fees
This is made as a single charge at the beginning of each academic year.
Examination Fees and Special Events: variable
The examination boards for the IGCSE and the IB charge for the examinations which the pupils sit. These fees are payable prior to the Summer Term. Parental authorisation will be sought for Special Trips and/or events. The costs will normally be charged in accounts submitted at the end of each term.
Student Insurance: 20€ Charged in the Winter Term.
Limited annual personal cover per student, the maximum payment depending on the type of injury. The policy can be inspected in the Bursar’s office.Only payable if the hospital or clinic designated by the insurance company is used (consult school nurse or bursar).
Reduction in Tuition Fees for More Than Two Children
Parents who have more than two children in the school are entitled to a reduction of 25% of the appropriate tuition fees for the third and subsequent children
Changes in fees
Normally fees are varied only for each new academic year. However, the School reserves the right to make changes at other intervals if necessary but will always give reasonable notice.
Non-payment of fees
A student is not re-admitted to the School following half term (or six weeks after the beginning of term, if there is no half term) if his or her fees have not been paid in full for the current term.
Surcharge for late payment
Students are admitted to the School on the understanding that parents contract to pay the tuition fees in advance of the start of each term and to pay a surcharge for late payment.
Notice of Withdrawal
On accepting a place for a student in the School parents also contract to give a full term's notice in writing of any intention to withdraw the student OR to pay a full term's fees in lieu of such notice.
