Curriculum

The curriculum at Oporto British School is designed to challenge our student body and ensure that they are given the best opportunities to learn in a vibrant environment.  As a British International School we follow the model in the Primary Section of Key Stage One and Two. In addition, there are allocated lessons for Portuguese.  In the Senior Section, from the age of 11 - 14, the students follow Key Stage Three based schemes of work.  At 14, the students will begin the Cambridge IGCSE (CIE) course. Thereafter, the students follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme (IBO).  This model ensures that the students receive a varied, yet academically challenging curriculum through all ages of the school.
