Houses
Our three houses are called Bragança, Lancaster and Windsor, reflecting the royal dynasties that have most closely tied Portugal and Britain.
For our pupils, being a member of a house enhances their sense of belonging and of loyalty to a diverse group of students of all ages. It encourages everyone to make their contribution to a common purpose, whether it be through sport, music, drama, academic achievement, social and community action, or simply by setting a good example.
The opportunity for your contribution to be celebrated is best seen through the rivalry between houses – always friendly, of course! Houses are led by a Head of House, who coordinates the activities of tutors, who each have oversight of a secondary student’s academic, co-curricular life and general wellbeing, and are the go-to person for parents to contact.
