OBS Current Vacancies
The School Librarian will be expected to take a highly creative and active role in the management, development and promotion of the wide range of services provided by the school library, both in the Library and within Primary and Secondary Sections, in addition to the day-to-day administration of the Library itself. They will work closely with Teachers, Teaching and Learning Assistants, Heads of Department and Academic Coordinators to ensure the library contributes effectively to the delivery of the curriculum and supports pupils to develop skills necessary to make effective use of resources.
The School Librarian will be required to keep abreast of new developments in the provision of a school library resource service, and developments in the use of ICT. They will also be required to manage the library budget/resources effectively and have a high level of organisation.

This is a new post. The Oporto British School (OBS) is looking to appoint a Trainee Science Technician to support our Senior Technician with the running and servicing of our laboratories.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate/graduate degree in science, as a minimum, with a major in chemistry (or equivalent experience). They will also meet the eligibility requirements for the funded traineeship IEFP programme that OBS will apply for after the suitable candidate is identified (“Estágio ATIVAR.PT”).
