OBS Current Vacancies

We are looking for temporary and cover qualified Teachers and Teaching and Learning Assistants, who are fluent in English to join a pool of supply staff. You will be a great team player, with a genuine commitment to putting students first and available for temporary/sporadic work (with the right to work in Portugal).

We are looking for a full time Teaching and Learning Assistant to join an excellent Early Years Team to offer classroom, individual and small group support to students in the Early Years. You will be a great team player, with a genuine commitment to putting students first. Preferably you will have experience supporting students with a variety of needs and in a number of different environments. Student achievement is above UK and international benchmarks.

The Pastoral and Safeguarding Lead is one of the key positions at Oporto British School. As Designated Safeguarding Lead, the post holder will be responsible for the coordination and promotion of pastoral care and safeguarding best practice throughout both Primary and Secondary sections of the school, and in liaison with all stakeholders, for the promotion of welfare amongst students and staff. The post holder will be responsible for keeping all stakeholders up to date regarding developments and best practice within the ambit of safeguarding and welfare, and for the delivery of appropriate training for all concerned. 

The post holder will manage Heads of House in their roles as Key Stage Pastoral Coordinators, the Primary Pastoral Coordinator, the School Counsellor, and will work closely with tutors. The post holder will chair regular meetings of key stage coordinating groups as well as Pastoral and Safeguarding meetings with Senior Leadership at OBS.

Funções a Desempenhar

– Desempenhar tarefas operacionais de limpeza do colégio;

– Apoio em outras tarefas de carácter operacional, nomeadamente na cantina e refeitório do colégio;

– Efetuar outras tarefas correlacionadas com a função tendo em conta as necessidades que possam surgir;

– Apoio em eventos;

Requisitos:

– Experiência em limpezas profissionais – salas de aula, escritórios;

– Conhecimento prático sobre limpeza, uso adequado dos equipamentos e produtos químicos;

– Sentido de responsabilidade e idoneidade;

– Brio e asseio no trabalho de limpeza;

Horário de trabalho:

Dias úteis das 12h30 às 21h30 (com 1 hora de almoço)

Tipo de contrato:

Contrato a prazo de 1 ano, com possibilidade de entrar nos quadros de pessoal.

Remuneração:

Salário mínimo + subsídio de refeição + possibilidade de dias extras de férias
