Our Form 12 Geography students had a productive day out on Friday gathering information for their IB coursework projects. Analysing the impact of the pandemic on Porto´s tourism industry (growing healthily until last year), they collected data at five key sites around the city, including visitor questionnaires, environmental quality assessments, interviews and traffic counts.

The weather was kind to us and they worked with great efficiency and enthusiasm, as they visited sites like Casa da Musica, Praça da Liberdade and the Ribeira waterfront where – pleasingly – tourists are still enjoying the beauty and hospitality of this fine and fascinating city. Well done Form12 on a great effort!
