Choosing a University

Last week, during assembly, Form 11 students were reminded of one of our online platforms which aims to help prepare strong university applications next year. We have started profiling our students to help them navigate the endless sea of possibilities at their disposal once they successfully finish their studies at OBS. They can now do research on multiple subjects and career choices, see what is required to access their chosen courses and start preparing documentation to submit when the time comes.

In preparation for Options Week, we also introduced this platform to our Form 10 students on Tuesday. We are setting new and exciting tasks for them to complete over the coming weeks, so that they think carefully about their IB options and choose their subjects, confident that their package is balanced, meets university entry requirements, while also pursuing their academic and intellectual interests.

As for our F12 class, we are happy to announce that we have already sent over 200 university applications to countries that require these to be sent off earlier. We are proud to report that many of our wonderful students have already been offered conditional placements in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Switzerland, Spain, France and in the Netherlands.

Congratulations to all!
