OBS recently received confirmation from the UK Mathematical Trust that two students have achieved a Certificate of Merit in the British Olympiad.

Only the best mathematicians around the world are invited to participate in the British Olympiad. The qualification is dependent on an outstanding performance in the preliminary competition, called the UK Mathematical Challenge. The highest scorers in the final can then compete for a certificate of merit, a distinction, or a medal (for the best in the world), so this really is an extraordinary achievement for them!
