World Environment Day

Secondary became a world of sustainability as students explored, analysed and explained the full breadth of environmental challenges facing our world, as well as solutions to such problems. Everything was looked at from sustAInability, to plant-based foods, to the important of Going Local (with practical links made with local providers), sustainable fashion, reforestation, water use, the global importance of bees and other pollinating insects, eco-tourism, reducing food waste, and of course recycling. Primary certainly enjoyed exploring the exhibition and some lifelong carnivores are even considering vegetarianism!
