World Book Day celebration

This year, World Book Day was a resounding success as our Primary students embraced the spirit of reading with extraordinary creativity and enthusiasm. With the motto “Drop Everything and Read” guiding our festivities, the day unfolded into a delightful celebration of literature that captured the hearts and minds of students, teachers, and parents alike.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the imaginative costumes that filled the playground as students arrived dressed as their favorite words. From whimsical wardrobes depicting nouns and verbs to vibrant displays of adjectives, the creativity on show was truly inspiring.

Students gathered in cozy reading circles, engrossed in their favourite books. Whether it was a classic tale, an adventurous story, or a fascinating nonfiction read, each student found a moment of peace and enjoyment in the pages of their chosen title. Teachers and staff joined in too, sharing their love for reading.

As we look ahead, we encourage our students and families to continue exploring the world of books. Remember, every day is a good day to drop everything and read!
