As part of their topic on Beginnings, the children have been discovering what life was like long ago: from the age of dinosaurs, through the Stone Age and Iron Age, and even learning about the famous fossil hunter Mary Anning. On Explorer Day, the children took part in exciting activities: they dug for fossils, created dioramas of dinosaur habitats, made imaginative photographs featuring dinosaurs, and went on a dinosaur scavenger hunt. To finish off the day, they proudly invited their parents to come and see all the wonderful work they have been doing this term.
