OBSMUN 2023

368 delegates between the ages of 11 and 18 spent three days discussing global issues such as ensuring worldwide sustainability and controlling inflation on international trade (ECOSOC Committee); ensuring equitable women’s rights and equal access to infant education (Human Rights Committee); establishing boundaries for the development and use of mRna vaccines, and efficient production and dissemination of reliable treatment and prevention measures against HIV (World Health Organization). The Security Council had a very intense debate on the accountability for committed and ongoing War Crimes and DISEC saw passionate delegates defending the disarmament of Nuclear Weapons and the establishment of clear environmental boundaries.

Congratulations to all participants who engaged with the challenges that this conference offered them, and who raised the level of discussion in the search for solutions for a better world.
