On March 13, our school celebrated International Day with a series of vibrant and engaging activities that truly showcased the spirit of internationalism and the diverse backgrounds and talents of our students.
Exhibitions and Themes
The exhibitions were a highlight of the day, effectively showing the quality of students’ projects and promoting genuine internationalism. In Secondary, the theme of Migration and Identity was explored through various subject lenses, leading to insightful and thought-provoking displays. In Primary, year group themes resulted in fascinating exhibitions that captivated everyone.
Interactive Activities
One of the most popular activities was the fortune tellers. The primary children thoroughly enjoyed making them and collecting stickers, adding an element of fun and engagement to the day.
Cultural Displays
The secondary students’ displays on underrepresented countries were a significant talking point. These displays not only educated but also fostered greater international understanding among the students and visitors.
International Food Festival
The International Food Festival was undoubtedly a highlight of the day. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who contributed by setting up stalls, providing food, and serving during the event. It was wonderful to see our community come together to share and celebrate our diverse cultures through food.
Overall, International Day was a resounding success, and we look forward to more such events that bring our community closer together.
