On December 2nd, OBS officially started the Advent. Our OBS band and Form 5 Portuguese Students performed Christmas songs to their fellow colleagues and teachers and ended the ceremony lighting up the Christmas tree, fully decorated by Early Years and Primary Students. Let this jolly season begin!
Last Tuesday, 30th of November, Richard Zimler, international prize-winning author of eleven novels and five children’s books, met virtually with children in Pre-Prep, Prep, Reception, Form 1 and Form 2. He presented the book “Dança quando chegares ao fim”. The children were delighted to hear the story and thoroughly enjoy their virtual visit.
The Eco Council have put together a fantastic Eco Advent calendar. Children can peel stick notes, one off each day (or more than one to make up for bank holidays and weekends).
